FBLA Earns Top Honors at Leadership Conference

The Longwood High School Future Business Leaders of America Chapter recently took high honors at the New York State Leadership Conference.
Through their dedication, motivation, and hard work, the following students competed against more than 470 state-wide FBLA members and earned the following awards:
Ali Chaudhry and Eva Zheberlyaeva: First place in the International Business team event
Natalie Gerdik and Cianna Williams: First place in the Business Management team event
Mya Faraone: Second place in Advertising; fourth place in Sports and Entertainment Management; and fifth place in Business Law
Itunuoluwa Adejare: Third place in Future Business Leader
Olivia Umbarila: Fourth place in Accounting 1
Additionally, Itunuoluwa Adejare, Mya Faraone, and Cianna Williams were inducted into the FBLA Honor Society for upholding academic excellence while displaying positive character, leadership, and service.
In addition to the numerous awards, members received more than ten ribbons recognizing the completion of community service and leadership activities.
FBLA is a student business organization that prepares students for careers in business.
