We are excited to extend an invitation to your entering grade 3-12 children to participate in our English as a New Language (ENL) Summer Program.
The program will span over four weeks from July 8, 2024, to August 1, 2024 (Monday-Thursday) at Longwood Middle School (grades 3-6) and Longwood High School (grades 7-12) from 8:30 am-2:30 pm. (Fridays off). Free breakfast and lunch as well as transportation will be provided to all participating students. You also have the option to provide your own transportation by dropping off your child at 8:30 a.m. and picking up your child at 2:30 p.m.
Here are some highlights of what the program will offer:
- Technology: Students will have the opportunity to engage in Coding-Scratch/Scratch Jr., enhancing their digital literacy skills and incorporating technology into their learning journey.
- Language-Rich Learning Experiences: Our program will immerse students in language-rich environments, providing ample opportunities for them to practice and improve their English language skills in both formal and informal settings.
- Academic Skill Building: Alongside language development, students will also focus on building essential academic skills across various subjects, ensuring they are well-equipped for success in the upcoming school year.
