Career Technical Education
CTE provides students with relevant and rigorous coursework which prepares them for college and careers. These courses offer students hands-on learning experiences that enables them to develop the skills that are needed to solve real-world problems. These courses are offered at Longwood High School through our business and technology electives.
CTE at the Longwood Junior High School provides students with the opportunity to explore a variety of technology topics. This introductory curriculum prepares students to explore areas that lead to potential participation in the career and college pathways.

Our School-to-Career Program and Career Academies launched a program to help graduating seniors find full-time employment after high school.
Through partnerships between Longwood High School and local manufacturing companies, graduating seniors have explored career opportunities that lead to full-time employment.
