This past weekend, the Longwood Central School District's award-winning music department received the prestigious 2022 New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Award of Excellence. The award honors districts for the well-rounded music programs that serve as models for music education programs throughout New York State.

Longwood Board of Education Vice President Victoria Molloy was recently honored by New York State Assemblyman Joe DeStefano as a Woman of Distinction for her outstanding service to the Longwood community and the Third Assembly District.
