West Middle Island Participates in a "Week of Giving!"

West Middle Island Elementary School is giving back to the community, with students collecting hundreds of toiletry items, including shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and soap, to donate to Branches Long Island as part of their school-wide "Week of Giving." 

Throughout the week, students participated in Patriotic Day and Longwood Day. As a culminating activity, students and teachers competed in Battle of the Grades, with the final round of competition between Principal Mrs. Schaentzler, Assistant Principals Dr. Adams and Mrs. Carfora, and Superintendent Dr. Lohman and Assistant Superintendent Mr. Crenshaw in a highly competitive round of bucket filling.
