VE Students Take Top Honors at Regional Business Plan Competition
Longwood High School's Business class, Virtual Enterprise (VE), under the guidance of teacher Mrs. Commander, earned top honors at this year's VE Long Island Regional Business Plan Competition and Trade Show hosted at LIU Post.
Competing against 2,270 students from across Long Island and 146 business firms, students took on a range of challenges, including online submission-based competitions and trade show events.
This year, VE students created the innovative firm, Arctic Aura, specializing in temperature-regulating bedding products – offering "The Coolest Bedding in Town," earning the Gold for their exceptional sales material submissions and the Silver for their booth design.
Virtual Enterprise Associate Director Elizabeth Persaud offered her congratulations, sharing, "We truly appreciate the time, effort, and commitment that your school invested in making this event a vibrant and enriching platform for aspiring entrepreneurs."
