The varsity girls and boys bowling teams swept the Section XI County Championships, marking back-to-back County Championships for the girls' bowling program since winning their first county title in 1989. This win also represents the boys' third title and first since 2005.
Both teams will represent Longwood and Section XI in the NYSPHSAA Bowling State Championships on March 11 at AMF Strike and Spare Lanes in Syracuse, NY.
Senior Ben Nordstrom also qualified for the Section XI Boys All-Star Bowling team that will compete in the state tournament that same weekend.
