Sixth-Grade Artists Create MLK Mural

Sixth-Grade Artists Create MLK Mural

As participants arrived at the Coram Firehouse for last weekend's Unity Walk, they were greeted by a beautiful, oversized mural created by our students.

Sixth-grade student artists in Ms. Kazel and Mr. Hampson's class used the grid method to create a vibrant, oversized mural of Martin Luther King, Jr. comprised of one-inch individual squares. Each square was transferred onto a larger piece of paper, resulting 9-foot mural that is breathtaking.

Congratulations to Ms. Kazel, Mr. Hampson, and our sixth-grade artists.
