Longwood High School Robotics Team 564 Earns Team Spirit Award

Our Longwood High School Robotics Team 564 received the prestigious Team Spirit Award at this weekend's FIRST Robotics Regional Competition at Hofstra University.

 To earn this achievement, the team demonstrated the following attributes:

  • Spirit is consistent both throughout the team and also throughout the contest in attitude, appearance, originality, and depth.
  • The team displays obvious enthusiasm – in supporting teams, appearance, interactions with teams/Judges, etc. – at the competition.
  • Spirit is part of the team and is apparent in all they do, including at their school, in their community, with sponsors and other teams, etc.
  • They demonstrate spirit as a unified team.

Under the guidance of Team 564 advisor Ms. Lang, the team was celebrated for extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit through exceptional partnership and teamwork, furthering the objectives of FIRST.

"This outstanding group of students are true ambassadors for Longwood," said Ms. Lang. " We are extremely proud of their accomplishments!"
