On Friday, September 16, the Longwood Central School District launched a brand new website.  Through feedback from our community,  the district's Technology Committee, and members of our Board of Education, the new site improves usability and accessibility, streamline navigation, and revitalizes information and resources for our community.

In addition to providing a clean and consistent look, the new website features comprehensive search capabilities, language translation, interactive calendars, Board of Education schedules, menus, important documents, and links to technology resources and tools for our students, staff, and parents. Also, the main menu and landing page architecture have been updated to help you find the information you need more intuitively and efficiently.

The site is also specifically designed to display responsively on all devices, delivering a quality experience on personal computers, tablets, and smartphones.

"I'm so very proud of the work of our teachers, staff, and community members who worked together throughout this process to select, design, build, and now share the launch of the new Longwood School District website with our school community," said Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Lohman. "As part of our ongoing initiative to increase two-way communication with our community, the new site is essential to providing our families with the best interactive web experience possible, with enhanced communication features across the board."

You will notice some areas are "coming soon" as we continue to update and build the best experience possible for our community.

We thank you in advance for your patience during this transition.
