The International Day of Peace was recognized on September 23, with elementary students participating in community-building activities, decorating peace rocks and doves, forming peace signs, and sharing poems focused on kindness, compassion, and the meaning of peace.
A special thank you to the Middle Island Teachers Association for purchasing and installing Peace Poles at our schools, each inscribed with “Peace” in different languages.
