Long High School Graduate Facilitates Support for Outdoor Education Program

Through her dedication to our high school outdoor education classes, Class of 2024 alumna Samantha Quinn secured a donation from National Grid to support our students' field trips, enabling unforgettable experiences like kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and mountain biking!

“These outdoor activities that are offered at Longwood are fun and stimulating and can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression and boost self-esteem and self-confidence, which goes a long way in education," said Samantha. "The program helps build healthy relationships and communication skills among peers, and allows  students to work in cooperation with one another.”
