The Community and Culture Committee is a Longwood School District Committee composed of community members and members of building level committees. We meet to empower, accept and celebrate all the diverse people within our school community. Rosh Hashanah: September 15-17, 2023 and Yom Kippur: September 24 & 25, 2023
Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year. It's marked by prayers, festive meals, and the blowing of the shofar (ram's horn). Yom Kippur, occurring ten days later, is the Day of Atonement.
