The West middle Island Shared Decision Making Team created a Wall of Fame in both buildings on our site. The wall serves to recognize and permanently honor members of the WMI family who have gone “above and beyond” to make a difference. A picture and description of each honoree’s achievement is highlighted on the wall and placed in the Wall of Fame registry.

Any member of the WMI family may nominate an individual or group, children or adults, who have made a significant contribution to the school community. Some examples might be:

1) Outstanding community service
2) Helping someone in distress
3) Enriching the school environment

A nomination form may be obtained throughout the year from the Wall of Fame display in each building’s lobby.

It is hoped that this wall will serve as a model for our students to recognize many of the positive contributions made by West Middle Island parents, students, and staff.
