Ridge Administration

The Ridge School is located on Long Island approximately 80 miles east of Manhattan. Students attending Ridge School come from several surrounding towns including Ridge, Medford, Middle Island, Shoreham and Lake Panamoka. Ridge School is one of four elementary schools in the Longwood Central School District. There are 755 students in grades kindergarten through four. Students are housed in two separate buildings on the site; the Primary Center for kindergarten and first grade, and the Intermediate Center for grades two, three and four.

Our P.T.A. is very active and supportive of our school initiatives. They provides students with cultural activities, family fun nights, a book fair, ice cream socials and many extra experiences. Our Shared Decision Making Team is composed of parents, teachers, administrators, and community members. The team works diligently to provide and support parent-child workshops for improvement in self-esteem, character education and academic progress.
