Sex Offender Information

The New York State Sex Offender Registration Act took effect on January 21, 1996 and requires offenders convicted of a sex offense to register as a sex offender with the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (NYSDCJS).  Sex Offenders who move to New York State must register with the NYSDCJS within 10 days.

The Suffolk County Police Department has a new format requiring you to access sex offender information directly from the DCJS website.

Longwood Central School District does not provide information on sex offenders who live outside of the boundaries of the community that we serve.
