On Thursday, May 21, the  Board of Education approved a revised calendar with Monday, June 15 as the last day of school.  All assignments must be completed and submitted by noon on Tuesday, June 16.
 

The NYSED has announced that all 2020 federal standardized testing requirements have been eliminated.

2020-21 Budget vote and Board Election 

Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order No. 202.26, the 2020-21 School Budget Vote and Election will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, by absentee ballot only. Please click here for frequently asked questions, presentations, and additional budget and board election information.
Starting Tuesday, June 2, a dropbox will be available for residents to drop off absentee ballots at Longwood School District Central Office,35 Yaphank Middle Island Rd., Middle Island, from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. On voting day, Tuesday, June 9, 2020, the ballot box will be open until 5:00 pm.
A list of voters who were issued an absentee ballot for the June 9, 2020 Budget Vote and School Board Election may be obtained from the District Clerk at Lillian.Pizzolo@longwoodcsd.org.
